Per Diem Advocate with the Western Mass Recovery Learning Community’s centers in Hampden County (Holyoke and Springfield): Facilitate the community through direct peer-to-peer support, partnering to find and access resources, group facilitation, etc.
- Your own experience living through trauma, psychiatric diagnosis, homelessness, addiction and/or a variety of other life challenges required.
- Understanding and commitment to examining systemic oppression related to racism, gender, psychiatric diagnosis, etc., also required.
- Intentional Peer Support, Certified Peer Specialist training and other trainings relevant to peer-to-peer work (Hearing Voices, Alternatives to Suicide, etc.) a plus.
- Bilingual/bicultural (English/ASL or English/Spanish) a plus.
